A Sunny Dream
It’s not hard to fall in love with the U.S Virgin Islands. There’s perfect weather, crystal-clear water, greenery, tons of wildlife - it’s truly a paradise for anyone who wants to surround themselves in the beauty of nature. People here are friendly and everything moves at a relaxed pace, making it easy to feel right at home. We grew up on the mainland (Brooke in Kansas, Sydnee in Georgia) and became friends after moving to St. Thomas. After years of working in tourism and property management, we wanted to use our local knowledge and professional experience to showcase the very best of what the U.S. Virgin Islands have to offer. All the stress and guesswork that goes into planning a vacation is gone - we'll help with everything from booking the perfect vacation rental to provisioning and transportation. We want our guests to relax, have the vacation of their dreams and experience the magic that makes this place so special.
The Birth of a Business
When we launched Island Luxury, we had a specific vision in mind. We wanted to create a luxury vacation home rental service that upholds the highest standards for service, communication and transparency. When guests book with us, they know we’ll be there for them throughout the entire process, whether they have a concern or just need help booking a rental car or planning an excursion. Likewise, the property owners we work with understand that we’re going to treat their home as if it was our own. We’re committed to going above and beyond, and we believe it's what’s helped us create a loyal following. We’ll never forget when we got our first 10 five-star reviews in a row. Some guests have even booked their next visit with us before they leave!
Like many small business owners, we’ve experienced our share of ups and downs. We opened the business right before the start of Covid-19, and that first year was filled with uncertainty about what travel restrictions would look like and how they would impact tourism. We were fortunate to weather the pandemic and it’s been very exciting to see visitors begin to return to the islands in full force.
Looking Forward to the Future
As we look back over the last few years, we’re so proud of what Island Luxury has become. We’ve loved meeting guests from around the world and helping them create memories they’ll treasure for a lifetime. We’re growing fast and hope to expand our services to other islands - stay tuned and hopefully we’ll get there soon!
