Six Ways to Make the Most of Your Stay at Our Luxury Villas

Updated: Feb 23, 2023

We’ve hosted hundreds of guests at our luxury villas. Along the way, we’ve compiled a list of must-do’s to make sure our visitors have the vacation of a lifetime. After you reserve a St. Thomas villa with us, here are your next steps:

1. Book in Advance: Boat Excursions & Private Chefs

A private chef or boat trip to your own tropical island can take your vacation from amazing to absolutely unforgettable - but they book fast, especially during peak season. You’ll want to reserve these well before you land in St. Thomas. Let us know what you’re interested in and our concierge service will arrange a magical dinner or perfect day on the water. Remember, concierge service is always free for Island Luxury guests!

2. Arrange Provisioning

Imagine arriving at a luxury villa, opening the pantry and finding it stocked with your favorite foods. All the ingredients for a relaxing poolside dinner are chilling inside the refrigerator - no need for a last-minute scramble to the store. Our concierge service can arrange provisioning and also source baby-care items like playpens, strollers and the like to help you travel light.

3. Plan a Day on Water Island or St. John

If your idea of the perfect vacation is spending all day by your private pool, we don’t blame you! But if you are looking for a little adventure, we recommend a day trip to Water Island or St. John. Both can be easily reached via ferry, and each island has a totally different feel from St. Thomas. St. John is perfect for hiking, exploring ruins and relaxing on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. On Water Island, we recommend renting a golf cart to explore before visit to stunning Honeymoon Beach.

4. Don’t Forget Dinner Reservations

Let’s be honest - food can make or break a trip! We always recommend that our guests make their dinner reservations early, especially if they are traveling in a large group or visiting over the holidays. Reservations are a definite must for some of our favorite dinner hot-spots like PRIME at Paradise Point, Oceana, Blue 11, Sea La Vie, and 13 Restaurant. As always, our concierge service is happy to make a reservation on your behalf at a restaurant near our luxury villas.

5. Experience The British Virgin Islands

Grab your passport and get ready for a day you’ll never forget! You’ve probably seen photos of the famous Baths on Virgin Gorda, but have you heard of their less-crowded but equally stunning neighbor, Spring Bay? Enjoy the natural swimming pool formed by the boulders, then stop by the legendary Soggy Dollar Bar in White Bay on your way home to try the original Painkiller.

6. Take a Seaplane to St. Croix

Visiting St. Croix via seaplane is the ultimate two-for-one adventure: you get to enjoy a birds’ eye view of the U.S. Virgin Islands before landing in a natural paradise! We like to send our guests on a tour of the 15-acre rainforest, where crested hummingbirds flit between the mahogany trees. After, stop at the Mt. Pellier Domino Club for a refreshing drink. You'll want to order two - one for you, and a non-alcoholic beer for one of the friendly pigs on site. These gentle pets have been trained to take the can right out of your hand, crush it with their teeth and enjoy every last drop!

Enjoy Your Stay in Our Luxury Villas!

We hope these tips help you make the most of your time in St. Thomas and create memories you’ll cherish for a lifetime. You can contact us here to get the planning process started. We can’t wait to see you soon!
