There’s nothing worse than an empty stomach and an empty fridge—especially on vacation! Whether you’re here for a quick getaway or an extended island escape, we’ve compiled everything you need to know about St. Thomas grocery stores.

Provisioning: Skip the Store, Start Relaxing

If you’d rather avoid grocery shopping altogether, consider a provisioning service. They’ll do the work for you, making sure you arrive to a fully stocked refrigerator, pantry and bar—no lines, no carts, no stress. Many local chefs also deliver ready-to-serve meals, so you can minimize your time spent prepping and cooking.

Provisioning is especially helpful if you:

  • Aren’t renting a car

  • Are getting in late or have plans for the day you arrive

  • Don’t want to make multiple stops for specialty items

  • Want to surprise your loved one with fresh flowers, balloons, Champagne or a cake
